I’m a 6th grader at Murphy Middle School. I’m Secretary of my Student Council and also a member of the Environmental Club. I love caring for the environment and very much believe in recycling. I am in a Girl Scout troop as well and am always looking for a way to help people. I’m also part of an organization called NEHS which stands for the National Elementary Honor Society which empowers its members to do volunteer and charity work. My hobbies are singing, theater, basketball, swimming,cooking/baking and sketching. I love acting and have been in several plays/musicals but on the flip side I am extremely competitive and love sports. At home I LOVE to look online for recipes to try out so I can learn culinary tips as I work. In my free time I like to free draw and sketch nature.
How did you get to where you are and what challenges did/do you face?
“In 5th grade I was Vice President of my student body at Schell elementary and several of my classmates have told me how much they have looked up to me because of how I care for others by doing volunteer work and when I was chosen to be the lawyer in a mock trial in PACE many of the other participants told me how mature and smart I talked and presented.
Wanting the world to benefit from my existence drives me to accomplish the things I have done today and challenges me to exceed my personal expectations everyday.”
Who is your she-ro?
“I have 2 she-roes in my life, the 1st one is Malala Yousafzai an empowering leader who fights for girls education and inspires me.
The 2nd one is my grandmother, Bhavani Patti as we call her, a determined and hardworking person who loves me to the ends of the earth as do I her. Her discipline and courage inspires me to be the best person I can be everyday.”
